All children shouldn’t have ipod touches I adamantly believe all students should not have ipod touches because they are unsafe , unhealthy, extremely expensive and non educational.
Firstly ipod touches are highly expensive. The cost for the actual ipod is tremendous, but energy, data and broadband on top of that is plainly too much. Also, families need to spend money on things the family actually needs as a main priority. The games on the ipod touch also, need to be bought and downloaded, most games are around $1.19, but some games can cost up to $8.00, and most children have thousands of games which could come as a total cost of more than $1000!!! Which makes the ipod a lot more money than parents may of planned.
Secondly, ipod touches are extremely unhealthy. They make a lot of children unsoaciable , because if all they do is play on their ipods they don’t get to experience life skills, play with friends or hang out with family. They also make children very lazy, which in the future may lead to further weight problems. It can also take up a lot of room in the brain, which is needed for important knowledge. It can also damage eardrums when the music is too loud.
Lastly, ipod touches are non educational. It is easy to access inappropriate games and websites children shouldn’t be on. Children can also get hooked on silly games or websites that could scam them.
